Miscellaneous

The high was about 26 F degrees yesterday. Not unbearable.

This a building you see when you look out the living room and kitchen. It is a training university for civil servants and police. I suppose that should make me feel safe, but not really.

They are building a parking garage for the university.

This is Cody. He found a bag of salad dressing and ate it. He also found a giant Hershey's chocolate bar that was meant for my family's Ukrainian relatives and ate it. I was so nervous because I thought he was going to die. He threw up about an hour ago. He's fine. Apparently, chocolate doesn't hurt him because, Cathy says, he has had three or four chocolate bars before.

He's wanted to play tug-of-war all day with me. I was stuck inside the house by myself for most of the day because I couldn't figure out how to use the key Cathy gave me (it has a really odd shape to it; looks like it should unlock a czar's palace, not a simple apartment), so Cody kept me company.

This is the door and window in my room. It opens up to an enclosed balcony that wraps around to another room. My room is colder because of the door to the balcony. It also sounds like a haunted castle in my room because the wind blows so strongly. I kind of like it though.

The living room and dining room. It's very bright during the day, but once 3 p.m. hits, it starts getting dark. I felt like it should be dinner time then because it was so dark.

Your living accommodations sound like a good atmosphere for the imagination. Write a story about it or something. As you will have so much free time, right? ;)

The dog is really pretty! I wouldn't mind if he were to jump on me either. He is adorable! I might be missing something...was there a picture of your rooM? IT looks really homey and nice! I like it.

I wouldn't be able to sleep with the howling of the wind. However, maybe it would serve as some sort of noise maker? lol

Did Cody eat just one candy bar? I guess I shouldn't say "just" because one of those bars is equal to 6 or 8 regular bars!

Oh, and I love the pics. Keep 'em coming!
