Hello from Russia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here!

I met three very interesting people on the way here. I want to tell you about them in greater detail. I was really sad to see them go, knowing I'll never see them again. I cried a little.

It was snowing when I arrived.

The woman who stamped my visa/passport gave me the look of death.

They have small flower shops that are open 24 hours. How charming is that!

I heard a man shoveling snow from the road very early this morning. It made me so happy!

I am on the 12th floor (I think) of an apartment building. The view from my window is of more apartment buildings.

The Broersma family is great! They have a friendly giant of a dog named Cody. He's sweet and likes to lean and jump on me.

I am going to Hinkson tomorrow to meet people and familiarize myself with the school.

A few pics are below...

More to come!

Boy, I understand your emotions of knowing you'll never see someone in this life again. It's a hug, maybe a kiss on the cheek, and then "goodbye".
Thankfully you have many, many more "hellos" in store in the near future. I'm glad you had a safe trip and like everyone else I look forward to following your experience.

The pictures are beautiful! How exciting! 24 hour flower shops, that is so charming. It makes me think of My Fair Lady.

Does living there make you feel like bursting out in song? I just imagine you living in a musical!;) lol

Miss you!
