I have so much to tell you, but I am almost speechless about one experience. I went to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and there are no adequate words to describe it -- just movements of the mouth that don't even begin to explain the holiness...the beauty...the sacredness. There was a choir singing inside, and their voices filled the whole church. I imagine that what I heard is what heaven will sound like.

I understand why you have to wear a head covering in that church. There is no other posture you could take when surrounded by such glory, sacredness, and beauty...

The church is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! WOW! I imagine the singing you heard was MAYBE something like the singing I heard in the churches in Scotland/England. There weren't any words, just angelic sounds! I wish I could've experienced it with you!
I didn't have internet access this weekend so I missed your other post. I read back up on it and decided to comment on this one!
Glory is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I would love to be sledding in the snow with those kids. IT looks like so much fun! Their sleds look amazing and really really fast! We need to get snow here! I enjoyed watching your videos! I am glad you added those. It made your world come to life a little bit more for me!
MIss you!
I really like the bells. And I saw all the pics on facebook... I had not realized before it was so beautiful. You have skill with your camera.
That must have been incredible. Don't you wish there were words to describe it?
wowsers meredith. you and russia are perfect for each other.
Wow... Maybe we need a few of those in the US to remind us a little bit about God's presence. Sounds like an incredible experience, though. I'm really happy for you and all your Russian experiences! :)
By any chance, were they singing "How do you solve a problem like Maria? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down? How do you find a word that means Maria? A flibbertyjibbit. A will of a wisp. A clown!" Kidding. The church bells just reminded me of the Sound of Music. It looks absolutely beautiful. I would like to go there.
